Three Ways To Wear Coatigans

The coatigan is a hybrid, a cardigan with the cut of a coat. It's a chic cover up and great for layering when it's chilly. Coatigans make fab Winter to Spring transitional pieces. If When the weather starts to get milder, coatigans are the perfect solution to days when its too cold for no jacket but a coat is too bulky. I've picked out some of my favourites available right now, and put together three different coatigan outfits. I hope you enjoy!

The tailored pieces in this androgynous look are very chic. I love the racing green shade of this ASOS coatigan combined with the navy Topshop trousers and H&M white shirt. The boucle finish of the material adds texture to the simple outfit.

As you would expect, Gok Wan's coatigan design is super figure flattering and beautifully structured. The vibrant printed Miss Selfridge Petite dress is a great contrast to the neutral grey. The H&M cat tights add some fun to the look, while the River Island jewellery adds edge. I love the cut-outs on these Choies flat ankle boots.

This River Island coatigan is versatile because it's easily dressed up or down. I love the neon colour pop of the cami contrasted with the matte black leather Topshop skirt. The Shu Box ankle boots make a statement while the frilly socks add an adorable feminine touch.
