One of my favourite holiday rituals is picking up a new perfume at the airport before my flight. Every time I smell that scent it reminds me of my trip. Scientists say scent evokes the most vivid memories of all the senses. I love that you can be transported back to sandy beaches or exciting cities you've visited with a quick spritz. I recently flew out to the South of Spain for a wedding and picked up the Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne at duty free. Just the 30ml, because unfortunately my lottery win just hasn't happened yet! Every time I wear it, it takes me straight back to Seville.
This perfume is perfect for summer. With a top note of cassis and base note of peach, it's fresh and fruity. Plus the heart note of acacia honey brings a sexy warmth. I would highly recommend this perfume if you love fruity scents. It's not musky or heavy, so if you are looking for a more intense scent, this probably isn't for you. Jo Malone boasts the ability to combine multiple fragrances from their line to create new and bespoke scents. According to the Art of Fragrance Combining™tool on their website, Nectarine Blossom & Honey goes hand in hand with Velvet Rose & Oud for a warmer fragrance, and Blackberry & Bay for a fresher one.
